- The piece aims to achieve the simplest possible desk, one that honors the beauty of the material, particularly the richness of walnut wood. From the front, it maintains the simplicity of two vertical elements and one horizontal top. But as you move around it, those elements reveal themselves as broad planes, and the desk shifts from a structural outline to an expression of material presence.
